- Aim Care was established in 2009 by a small team of professionals dedicated to setting new standards in care. Our fresh and innovative approach to services and the running of the organisation is underpinned by experienced managers, a highly trained staff team and a solid system of Quality Assurance. The use of new technology allows us to streamline operations, enabling our support workers to spend more time where it matters, such as with our care-givers and cliental.
Aim Care supports adults, with various types of disability:
• Learning Disability
• Autism Spectrum Disorder, including Asperger’s Syndrome
• Acquired Brain Injury
• Mental Health needs
• Dual Diagnosis
• Physical Disability
We specialise in support for challenging behaviour. Aim Care also offers a range of services to older people in their own home, including support for Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, Stroke recuperation.
Families and service-users are actively involved in the development of our services: individuals are encouraged to help with the recruitment of new members of staff, have choice as to who becomes their Key Workers, regularly attend reviews and can comment on the quality of the service, which is open for regular inspection.
We are a specialist domiciliary care service that is registered with the Care & Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) and have recently received an Investors in People award. As a member of the Association for Supported Living (ASL), we are dedicated to the continuous improvement of supported living services for people with learning disabilities.
Aim Care’s offices are situated in Abergele, providing services throughout Conwy and Denbighshire. The service will shortly be expanding into Flintshire and Wrexham.
